Dr. R.J. Singer (Chinese Medicine) shows a few different methods to help you quickly recover from the common cold and flu.
These methods are to be used at the earliest signs and symptoms. The sooner they are used, the better the results.
Do not do the sweating method, if you have had symptoms for more than 48 hours, or when the cold or flu symptoms have gotten deeper into the body and started to effect the respiratory system. By that time, it is too late. Sweating will weaken your body too much, possibly making your symptoms worse.
You can do the QiGong method at any stage. While it is best to still try and do the exercise at the earliest stage of illness, it can still strengthen the immune system and help stimulate the respiratory system during any stage.
